Ricky Lee Young passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Marion General Hospital.

He was born in Martin County Kentucky to the late Clifford Young and Rowena (Bowens) Young who is still surviving.

Gene A. Marsh slipped quietly and peacefully into the Lord’s hands after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family on December 5, 2010, at the age of 75.

He was born on May 12, 1935 in Tildon, Indiana to Robert L. and Alma (Webb) Marsh. His family moved to Green Camp in 1950 where he currently resided with his wife.

Jonah Blue, age 91 of Marion died early Monday morning, December 6, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.  Arrangements are pending with Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood. 

Phillip S. “Phil” Dumbaugh, age 86, of Mount Gilead, died Friday morning, December 3, 2010, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

On January 13, 1924, Phil was born in Mount Gilead, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Addie (Hull) Dumbaugh.  He graduated from Mount Gilead High School in the Class of 1943.

Vivian M. Griffith, age 93, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Worthington Christian Village in Columbus, Ohio, where she had been a resident since August 2006.

Vivian and her husband, Charles, lived in Marion, Ohio until 2002 when they moved to Columbus to be near family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Pauline McClenathan age 91, of Caledonia passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon December 5th  at her home.

Pauline was born in Morrow County on April 23, 1919 the daughter of the late Audrey & Myrle (Cole) Anthony.

The chorus of angels in heaven are rejoicing as they have been joined by the uplifting bass voice of “Pastor Bob”, whose upbeat and joyous spirit was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Robert C. “Pastor Bob” Johncox, age 64, of Candlewood Lake in Mount Gilead, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Saturday morning, December 4, 2010, following a five month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mary Alice White (Wicker), 66, of Marion passed away December 4, 2010 at her residence. Friends and loved ones are invited to a memorial luncheon at 3 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Trotters Restaurant. Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Marion Heartland Hospice. Arrangements and memorial contributions are in care of Boyd-Born Funeral Home.

Paul E. Hoffman, age 90 of Essex died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 3, 2010 in the room in which he was born.  He was born on August 14, 1920 to the late Edgar and Daisy (Reese) Hoffman.

On April 7, 1940 he married the former Fannie E. Rockhold in Russell, Kentucky and she survives.

Josephine "Jo" Ruth, age 91, of Marion, died Wednesday evening, December 1, 2010, at Marion General Hospital.
