Constance Lee “Connie” Forsythe, age 71, formerly of North Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday morning, September 1, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, after courageously battling multiple ailments for the past 3 years.

She was born October 8, 1938 near Magnetic Springs to the late Wayne and Frieda (Hickok) Liggett.

John Brooks Soulier, age 93, of Mount Gilead, died Monday evening, August 30, 2010 at the Woodside Village Care Center.

On October 25, 1916, John was born in Marion, Ohio, the son of the late William Frederick and Mabel (Brooks) Soulier.  He was a graduate of Marion Harding High School in the Class of 1934.

Karen Lee Thompson, 51 of Marion went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 29th, 2010 at 8:05 A.M. after an extended stay at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

She was born September 7, 1958 and was a life-long resident of Marion. She was the daughter of the late Billy Leo Price Sr. and Hazel Maxine Price.

Arthur Robert Levy, age 84, of Marion, Ohio died at the Alterra Sterling House Sunday, August 29, 2010.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 1926 to the late Murry R. and Pearl L. (Daily) Levy.

He married Mary Isabelle Skaggs June 5, 1954 at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Isabelle died November 29, 2007.

Craig A. Snyder, a.k.a. “Snydes”, age 53, of Marion, went to dance with the Saints early Friday morning, August 27, 2010, at Marion General Hospital surrounded by his family following a valiant ten month battle with brain cancer.

On June 26, 1957, Craig was born in Mansfield, Ohio, one of four children of Madelyn (McConachie) Snyder of Mount Gilead, and the late Philip Snyder.

Willard C. Fassler, 81, died August 27, 2010 with loved ones at his side.

Born April 29, 1929 to the late Willard A. Fassler and Castoria (Wilson) Fassler.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 9 years, Bernice I. (Lama) Fassler, and his late wife, Harriet J. Fassler of 50 years.

Lowell H. Kraner, age 87, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Friday August 27, 2010 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born November 29, 1922 in Marion to the late Harvey P. and Magdalene (Heimlich) Kraner.

Steven S. Haynes, age 48 of LaRue, died Sunday, August 22, 2010.

He was born March 6, 1962 in Lamar, Colorado to Curtis and Delphene (Riedlinger) Haynes, who both survive in LaRue. He married the former Teresa D. Cochran in June, 1997 and she survives in LaRue.

Doris J. Webb age 86 of Hilliard, Ohio formerly of Marion, Ohio and Akron, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from the end stage of Alzheimers after a 8 year battle at Columbus Alzheimers Care Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Doris was born May 12, 1924 in Cumberland, MD., to the late Charles "Bud" and Nina (Bennett) Corrick.

Richard A. Potts, 53, formerly of Marion, passed away in Lorena, Texas on June 27, 2010.

Richard was born in Marion, OH on August 27, 1956 to June Estes (deceased) & Robert Potts.
