Rose (Lofano) Gribble, “our beloved Nanny,” age 88, of Urbana, formerly of Marion, passed away Monday afternoon, August 9, 2010 at the Gables of Green Pastures, Marysville Ohio.

She was born July 8, 1922 in Akron, Ohio, to Onofrio and Maria (Lamanna) Lofano.

Betty C. O’Bryant, 78, Marion, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on June 9, 1932 to the late George B. and Anna E. (Barten) Jones in York, Pennsylvania.

Edward L. Weiser, 84, a former Marion resident, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2010, surrounded by his family, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Charlene Tennar, parents Emerson and Nellie Morgan Weiser, brother Ronald Weiser and sisters Mary Clare Wanamaker and Betty Ann Cook.

Anthony Wayne “Tony” Yates, age 53 of Richwood died unexpectedly in his sleep Sunday morning, Aug. 8, 2010 at his home.

He was born April 26, 1957 in Urbana to William Raymond and the late Naomi Mae (Slone) Yates.

Melody A. Miller, 55, Marion, died on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at her residence.

She was born on October 29, 1954 in Marion to the late James and Rose Marie (Burgle) Sisson.

Melody worked for MoPac for 10 years and enjoyed time with her family, playing bingo and fishing.

Pastor Sanford D. Hornbeck unexpectedly went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 8, 2010.

Sanford Hornbeck was born to Phyllis (Buxton) Gregory and the late Dwight Hornbeck on July 26, 1958.

Reba Elaine Rogers, age 78, of Catalpa Lane, in Mount Gilead went to be with her Lord early Sunday morning, August 8, 2010 at the Morrow County Hospital Extended Care Facility.

She was born on September 7, 1931, on the family farm house in Fulton, the daughter of the late Meredeth and Myrtle (Hart) Shoewalter.

Mary C. (Gorenflo) Ferriman, age 87, of Marion died early Saturday morning, August 7, 2010 at Community Healthcare Center in Marion.

She was born on September 11, 1922 in Marion, the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Reynolds) Gorenflo.

Mildred M. Davids, age 92, of Sylvania, formerly of Prospect died early Sunday morning, August 8, 2010 at Sunset Village in Sylvania.

She was born May 16, 1918 in Monroeville to the late Herbert and Lena (Reinhart) Wade.

On August 28, 1941 she married Kenneth “Kenny” Davids and he died June 5, 1994.

Loren G. Delaney age 77 passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at Partners of Marion and Rehabilitation Center. 

He was born June 11, 1933 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late David and Anna Mae (Malone) Delaney.

On January 16, 1952 he married Betty M. (Hinton) Delaney.
