Paulus Wanted for Burglary

The Marion Police Department is looking for Patricia A. Paulus on an outstanding warrant. Paulus is a 56-year-old white female with blonde hair and green eyes. She is 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 120 lbs. Her last known address was 465 South Main Street.

Marion Doctor Awarded Continued Board Certification

The American Board of Podiatric Surgery recently notified Dr. Timothy J. Brown that he has successfully completed all the requirements for recertification. Brown will also continue as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Governor Signs Legislation to Strengthen Campaign Finance Laws

State Representatives Jeff McClain (R-Upper Sandusky), who represents Marion, and Brian Hill (R-Zanesville) Tuesday attended Governor Kasich’s bill signing of House Bill 326, which imposes a criminal penalty on public officials who knowingly use public funds for political purposes.

Ohio’s Controlled Deer and Waterfowl Hunts Coming Soon

Hunters wanting to participate in Ohio's fall controlled deer and waterfowl hunts have until July 31 to submit permit applications for a random drawing. These special hunts are held on selected public areas to provide additional hunting opportunities for Ohio's hunting enthusiasts.

Harding Home Event Steps into the Past

Civil War enthusiasts are in for a treat as “Voices of the Union’s War“ is presented at 7 p.m. June 7 under the tent on the grounds of the Harding Home. Three distinct voices from the 1861-64 conflict will converge as photographer Mathew Brady, President Abraham Lincoln and a soldier with the Ohio Colored Troops reveal their thoughts and experiences.

City of Marion to Fog Mosquitoes on Thursday

The City of Marion will be fogging mosquitoes on Thursday, June 7, from 4:00am to 7:00am. The areas that will be sprayed include: north central Marion, Fairpark, south Marion, and the city parks.

New City Aquatic Center to Open Wednesday

Vistors Bureau Honors Marion Ambassadors
