Pre-Opening Tour Offered of New Aquatic Center

On Wednesday, May 16, 2012, between 5:30pm and 7:00pm, the City of Marion’s Lincoln Park Family Aquatic Center will offer tours for the community so you can see the facility before opening. If you have already purchased your membership, or if you purchase your membership that evening, you may tour for free.

Police Make Arrest in Connection with Stabbing

The Marion Police Department says they arrested a 20-year-old man this week following a lengthy investigation of a home invasion that occurred on April 30, 2012 which resulted in the stabbing of an elderly man.
