Troopers from the Marion Post are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred Thursday, May 14, at 8:23am. The crash occurred on Fairground Road between Madison Avenue and Pole Lane Road, in Marion County.

Credit Union Raises Funds For Miracle Network

Marion Community Credit Union raised $1,985 toward the Ohio credit union statewide fundraiser, Marching Miles for Miracle Kids, to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network and the eight children’s hospitals serving Ohio. The event as a whole raised $110,000 this year, bringing the four-year total to $370,000.

Marion Postal Workers Collect 30,000 Pounds of Food

Goodwill Wheel-A-Thon Celebrates 20 Years

Marion Goodwill’s 20th Annual Wheel-A-Thon is Saturday, May 15th at the Tri-Rivers Career Center parking lot located at 2222 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road. Local Students Awarded Over $90,000

Marion Community Foundation has announced its 2010 Scholarship Program awards — more than $91,000, in 89 scholarships, to be given to 74 local students. This represents an increase of $40,000 in awards over last year.
