Ground Broken on First of Ohio’s New Casinos
Developers are breaking ground on what will be the first of four casinos in Ohio.
They gathered with a few public officials in Toledo for a ceremony to mark the start of construction on a casino that will be built along Interstate 75 near downtown.
Work is expected to start within the next two weeks and to be completed sometime in early 2012.
Ohio Receives More Funds for Foreclosure Help
The Obama Administration has announced that the Ohio Housing Finance Agency will receive an additional $148 million through the U.S. Treasury’s Hardest-Hit Fund to help Ohio homeowners prevent foreclosure.
