Richard J. (Dick) Behm passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Marion General Hospital after a short battle with liver cancer at age 76, surrounded by family.

Born in Bloomsburg, Pa. on February 11, 1935 and graduated from Bloomsburg High School before serving in the United States Navy from 1952-1956 in Kingsville, TX.

Gerald L. Maxwell age 69 of Prospect, Ohio, passed away Wednesday December 7, 2011 at his residence.

He was born August 24, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Gerald A. and Violet (Rife) Conklin Maxwell. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, James Conklin.

Helen Lyons Barrett age 89 of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully and went home to her heavenly father on December 7, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.

She was born August 11, 1922 in Paintsville, KY., to the late Ernest and Hattie (Castle) Dove.

On May 14, 1938 she married Rev. James Lyons he preceded her in death on April 2, 1991. Then on August 27, 1994 she married John Barrett he preceded her in death on August 18, 1999.

Gerald LeRoy Kellogg, age 84, of Marion passed away early Wednesday morning at Marion General Hospital.

Born in Marion on October 22, 1927 to Glen R. and Pauline (Riley) Kellogg.

Gerald married the former Geraldine DeWitt on December 24, 1947 in Oakland E.U.B. Church.

Scott Donald Osborne, age 41, of Cardington, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief illness.

On April 3, 1970, Scott was born in Mount Gilead, the son of Helen (Drake) Fox and George Osborne.  He attended the Cardington School systems.

Wahneta Jean Barnes, age 85, of Radnor, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Grady Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

Wahneta was born June 28, 1926, to the late Huston and Bernice (Watkins) Ackley of Prospect.

Peggy Swartz, age 64 of Richwood died Monday evening, December 5, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born July 11, 1947 to the late Paul H. and Helen Laverne (Martino) Swartz.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Kelley and special friend, Karleen Streitenberger.

For Bob Meddings, he always had a love affair with the game of golf.  He understood that if you didn’t take it seriously, it’s no fun.  And if you do take it seriously, it breaks your heart.

Robert L. “Bob” Meddings, of Marion, died unexpectedly on Saturday evening, December 3, 2011, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief one week illness.  He was 74 years old.

Ann J. Burris, of Marion, passed away peacefully and privately Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.

She was born October 17, 1924 to the late Marguerite and Carl Zink in Marion, OH.

Ann attended Marion Catholic high School and was then married to Robert P. Burris February 13, 1943. He preceded her in death in August of 1979.

Loving someone regardless of their qualities or actions, with no conditions or circumstances, that love is unconditional love.  The same brand of love that Nancy shared with whomever she came across.  To forgive and love, those were the virtues Nancy stood for.

At the age of 73, Nancy E. Reid, of Mount Gilead, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Thursday evening, December 1, 2011, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
