Karen J. Hickok, age 64, of Marion died unexpectedly Monday evening, February 7, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Mary Jean Shook, age 76, of Mount Gilead, died early Friday morning, February 4, 2011, at Woodside Village Care Center following an extended illness.

On July 2, 1934, Mary was born in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ronald and Valeria (Gamble) Thayer.  She graduated from Louisville High School in the Class of 1952.

Diane M. Freeman Fox age 65 of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully, February 4, 2011 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband and son at her side.

She was born on August 18, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to Harold “Fats” and Rita (Coffey) Millisor.

Jerry Dale Billups, 70, of Marion was killed Sunday, January 23, 2011 after being struck by a train here in Marion.

Jerry was born February 14, 1940 in Ramsey, West Virginia to the late Esmond Billups and Elizabeth Hess.

Grace P. Farlee age 84 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Febuary 2, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.

On August 16, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio she was born to the late James Robert and Susie Myrtle (Miller) Kinkaid.

Anna E. Bosh passed away Monday evening, January 31, 2011, at Kingston Residence of Marion at the age of 86.

Anna was born July 12, 1924 in Toughkenanon, Pennsylvania to the late Chief and Olive (Cummings) Jackson.

Lawrence W. "Larry" Snyder age 91 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Monday January 31, 2011 at The Kingston of Marion.

He was born January 13, 1920 in Fredricktown, Ohio to the late Lee L. and Charlotte (Hodges) Snyder.

L. Wayne Gray , age 76 formerly of Caledonia passed away on Thursday at his residence in Seton Square, Marion.

Wayne was born December 25th, 1934 in Caledonia the son of the late George W. & Freda (Redman) Gray.

Richard L. “Dick” Loyer, age 83, of Marion and formerly of Waldo, died Monday morning, January 31, 2011, at Grant Medical Center following complications from a fall he experienced last Thursday.

On July 20, 1927, Dick was born in Marion County, one of five children of the late Norris and Florence (Fairchild) Loyer. When he was only ten years old, he lost his mother to tuberculosis, and was placed in the Morrow County Children’s Home. He was then taken in and raised by Wallace and Mabel Rengert in Waldo.

Katie I. Russell French Gross, age 86, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, January 30, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.

On January 6, 1925, Katie was born in Ironton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Bertha (Abrams) Russell.
