Mary Ellen (Mayers) Townsend, age 86, of Marion died unexpectedly Monday night, September 20, 2010 at her home.

She was born in Richland Township, Marion County, on December 5, 1923, the daughter of the late Harley and Sadie (Fetter) Mayers.

Harriet Louise Waldo (Ouisie), 83 of Marion, OH and formerly of New Orleans LA died on Saturday, Sept. 18th at home.

She was born in New Orleans March 17, 1927 the daughter of Harry and Louise (Lapeyre) Waldo.

Sytha Cornwell Auxier, age 87, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday September 19, 2010 at the Community Health Care Nursing Center.

She was born November 8, 1922 to the late Rev. Frank and Mary Bell (Williams) Combs, in Darfork, Ky. She was the last of nineteen children.

Richard D. Schnittker age 65 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born January 25, 1945 in Mobile, AL. to Elmer and Betty (Pelk) Schnittker.
On February 25, 1967 he married Nina M. (Stapleton) Schnittker.

Virginia A. Griffiths, also lovingly known as “What’s Her Name”, age 89, of Marion, is now singing with the angels in Heaven as she went to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, September 15, 2010, at Marion General Hospital following a brief illness.

On August 6, 1921, Virginia was born in Marion, Ohio, one of three children of the late Troy and Marian (Grubb) Young.  She graduated from Marion Harding High School, Class of 1939.

Frederick George Lamb, 58, of Marion died September 13, 2010 peacefully in his sleep at home. This was an unexpected death.

Fred is survived by one brother, David Lamb of Marion; a sister-in-law, Trish Lamb of Marion; a nephew, Chad W. Lamb of Kentucky; and 2 great nieces, Josylyn and Keeley Lamb of Kentucky.

Janet Sue Wilson, age 68 of Martel passed away Thursday evening September 16th , 2010 at Galion Community Hospital.

Janet was born September 20th 1941 the daughter of the late Dale and Grace (Lyon) Goken.

William J. Doyle Jr., 71, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Marion General Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born on April 22, 1939 to the late William J. Doyle Sr. and Eileen (Sullivan) Doyle in Youngstown, Ohio.

Donna Mae Hill age 72 of Richwood, formerly of Ketchikan, Alaska, died peacefully Wednesday evening September 15, 2010 at the Gables in Green Pastures in Marysville.

She was born November 23, 1937 in Wooster.

Ellen M. Neuhart age 79, of Marion, Ohio, daughter of the late LeRoy and Marie Harris. Born October 28, 1930 in Kenton, Ohio, Ellen passed away at home surrounded and loved by family and friends and fury friend- Rudy on September 15, 2010.
