Harry J. Davis age 84 formerly of Morral, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

He was born March 21, 1926 in Marion, Ohio to the late Albert and Sadie (Couthard) Davis.

On August 1, 1967 in Elizabeth City, N.C. he married Mattie M. "Pat" (Coley) Davis, she survives in Marseilles, Ohio.

Edward J. Hirneise, 86, Marion, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on October 5, 1923 in Marion to the late William and Cecelia (Schnauz) Hirneise.

Kenneth D. “Doc” Welty age 92 of Richwood, died Wednesday afternoon July 7, 2010 at the Marion General Hospital.

He was born November 4, 1917 in Marion to the late Fred and Mary (Atha) Everly, but at the age of 12, due to the passing of his mother, he was adopted by Earnest and Elsie Welty of West Mansfield, who also preceded him in death.

Ross L. Dennis age 64 of Prospect, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a year long battle with cancer.

He was born April 26, 1946 in Marion, Ohio to Richard and Dorothy (Stouffer) Dennis.

Jerry R. Porterfield, 73, Marion, passed away on July 6, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on March 15, 1937 to the late Robert C. and Udah (Bilger) Porterfield in Marion, Ohio.

Jerry graduated from Claridon High School in 1955 and married his wife, Marilyn (Rose) Porterfield on September of 1957. He retired in 1998 with 43 years of service with the Erie and ConRail Rail Road.

John Angelo Maniaci passed away July 5, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital at the age of 70.

He was born on April 16, 1940 in Marion to the late Anthony John and Eleanor Marie (Caserta) Maniaci. On April 22, 1999 on Bellefontaine Island at Indian Lake he married Sheila Borham.

David S. Reynolds, 55, who recently passed away at his home on June 28, 2010, is remembered by his many friends and family as a compassionate, empathetic man who loved Marion, American and European history, politics, flying and his four legged “kids.”

Rev. Harold M. Holmes, age 86 of Delaware returned to his Heavenly Savior on Sunday, July 4th, 2010 surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 10, 1924 in Willard to the late Howard and Marjorie (Sparks) Holmes, one of eleven children.

Beverly Jean Bish, age 77, of LaRue Prospect Rd. S. and recently of Primrose Retirement Community, Marion, went to Heaven on Saturday July 3, 2010 at 9:00 PM at Heartland Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 5, 1932 on True Ave. in Marion to the late Herman E. and Opal M. (Henry) Hinton.
