Annual Eco-Art Show is Saturday at Palace Theatre

Recycled bowling pins

Recycled bowling pins – one of the items found at previous Eco-Art Shows.

The public is invited to celebrate America Recycles Day with the annual Eco-Art Show at Marion’s Historic Palace Theatre on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 11:00am to 7:00pm. You can shop local and green for unique holiday gifts made from recycled, repurposed, rescued and upcycled items.

Sixty artists and crafters from all over Ohio will be at the theatre with earth-friendly creations. Some of the highlights will include clocks made from old telephones, jewelry crafted from silverware, pop tabs, and bottle caps, rescued barn siding folk art, pallet furniture, old blue jean purses, handmade aprons sewn from thrift shop dress shirts, holiday tree ornaments shining new light from old bulbs, scrap fabric quilts, feed bag shopping totes, license plate signs, boot bird houses, hand-painted bowling pins, shrunken wool sweater mittens, liquor bottle lamps, and holiday tree ornaments shining new light from old bulbs.

In addition to the eco-art, there will be lunch, dinner, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails available for purchase while you browse and shop.
