Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has announced that the Ohio Missing Persons Unit, along with local law enforcement agencies, had a 98.4 percent recovery rate of missing children in 2011.

Ohioans Can Now Access Child Support Information Online

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) has announced a new website that will give families 24-hour access to their child support case information online, so they can look up information about their cases themselves, without having to call or visit a local office.

State Income Tax Rate Lowest in 30 Years, Revenues Still Up

Taxpayers filing last-minute returns today will be paying the lowest state income tax Ohio has seen in 30 years.

The rates that went into effect this year for last year’s earned income continue a downward trend and haven’t been lower since 1981 for people earning less than $80,000 per year, according to a Dayton Daily News analysis of Ohio Department of Taxation records.

The Supreme Court of Ohio has confirmed the four cases it will hear in official session in Marion County on Wednesday, April 25, as part of its semiannual Off-Site Court Program. Petition Accepted for Repeal of Same-Sex Marriage Ban

On the second try, a proposed constitutional amendment to repeal Ohio’s same-sex marriage ban was certified Tuesday by Attorney General Mike DeWine.

DeWine decided that the petition submitted last week by the Freedom To Marry Ohio coalition contained the requisite 1,000 valid signatures of Ohio registered voters and included a “fair and truthful” summary of the proposed amendment.

Antitrust Complaint Against Two Ohio Rock Salt Producers
