Anna was born July 12, 1924 in Toughkenanon, Pennsylvania to the late Chief and Olive (Cummings) Jackson.

Lawrence W. "Larry" Snyder age 91 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Monday January 31, 2011 at The Kingston of Marion.

He was born January 13, 1920 in Fredricktown, Ohio to the late Lee L. and Charlotte (Hodges) Snyder.

L. Wayne Gray , age 76 formerly of Caledonia passed away on Thursday at his residence in Seton Square, Marion.

Wayne was born December 25th, 1934 in Caledonia the son of the late George W. & Freda (Redman) Gray.

Richard L. “Dick” Loyer, age 83, of Marion and formerly of Waldo, died Monday morning, January 31, 2011, at Grant Medical Center following complications from a fall he experienced last Thursday.

On July 20, 1927, Dick was born in Marion County, one of five children of the late Norris and Florence (Fairchild) Loyer. When he was only ten years old, he lost his mother to tuberculosis, and was placed in the Morrow County Children’s Home. He was then taken in and raised by Wallace and Mabel Rengert in Waldo.

Katie I. Russell French Gross, age 86, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, January 30, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.

On January 6, 1925, Katie was born in Ironton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Bertha (Abrams) Russell.

Matthew T. Barr, age 5 of Sunbury passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at home surrounded by his family following three year battle against cancer.

He was born on July 13, 2005 in Columbus and was the beloved and treasured son of Jeremie A. and Jennifer L. (Robson) Barr.

James “Jim” J. Conley, 65, of Marion, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Marion General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born May 30, 1945 in Flatfork, Kentucky to the late Marion and Birdie (Hall) Conley.

Tabitha A, Seymour, 43, of Mt. Gilead passed away on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 in Riverside Hospital , Columbus.

She was born May 8th, 1967 in Columbus as the daughter of William & Ruth (Minor) Seymour.

Jimmie W. Spears age 65 of Marion went to be with the Lord January 27, 2011 at 5:00 AM.

He was born May 28, 1945 to the late Homer and Eva Marie (Austin) Spears.

He graduated from Ridgadale High School in 1963. He was employed by Todco Overhead Door for over 25 years.

Genevieve C. Smith, 103, Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Marion Pointe Nursing Home.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1907 to the late James M. and Mary A. (Cody) Hess in Malinta, Ohio.

Genevieve was married in 1928 to Everett C. Smith who preceded her in death in 1979.
