Earth Day is April 22 and there are several events planned for Marion to celebrate, learn, and clean up. Events include a Downtown Marion clean up, concert fundraiser, inter-faith breakfast, kids’ activities, electronics recycling, paper shredding, and more.
Westside Association Holding Spring Clean Up

Huge Solar Energy Facility Opens in Wyandot County

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland Thursday joined The Public Service Enterprise Group, Ohio State University President Dr. E. Gordon Gee, American Electric Power and other area leaders to open the PSEG Wyandot Solar Farm in Upper Sandusky.
The 80 acre, 12-megawatt facility becomes the largest solar energy facility operating in Ohio and one of the largest in the United States east of the Mississippi River.
