Berean Baptist Church of Marion invites area families to attend the conference “Straight Talk for the Christian Home” presented by Dr. Larry Fogle. The conference is scheduled for the weekend of April 18-19, 2015. Admission is free.
Fogle is the director of the Pastoral Enrichment Program (PEP), a ministry of Baptist Mid-Missions. PEP is a conference ministry that is designed to serve the needs of pastors here in the United States and around the world. Fogle and his wife, Sallie, have served as missionaries with Baptist Mid-Missions since 1975. They have been involved in church planting and development, church leadership training and presenting conferences.
“Straight Talk for the Christian Home” will be presented in four sessions April 18-19, beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. Following is the schedule of sessions:
- Saturday, April 18
Building Blocks for the Solid Christian Marriage, 6 p.m. - Sunday, April 19
Marriage & Other Commitments: When We Struggle with Balance, 9:45 a.m.
The Art of Love: Displaying Affection, 10:45 a.m.
Growing Kids God’s Way, 6 p.m.
Rev. Chris Peria, pastor of Berean Baptist, invites area families to attend the conference. Printed materials to accompany Dr. Fogle’s presentation will be provided.
Berean Baptist Church offers services on Sunday and Wednesday. The Sunday service schedule begins at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday school for all ages followed by morning worship at 10:45 a.m., and the evening service at 6 p.m. Bible study and prayer time begins at 7 p.m. each Wednesday. Nursery care is offered during services. Berean Baptist also operates a daycare and pre-school.
