Lloyd A. Page, 56, of Delaware

Lloyd A. Page, age 56 of Delaware and with a song in his heart passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Country View of Sunbury following a ten week illness.

He was born on February 19, 1954 in Crestline to Arnold and Virginia (Ruel) Page of East Liberty.  A graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1972, he returned to Delaware and Delaware County 14 years ago.

A talented musician and music educator, he enjoyed a passion for music, performing, writing, and producing as well as playing at Delaware events and establishments.  He formerly owned and operated The Music Shoppe in Wadsworth and had also worked as computer analyst with CBC Inc. in Columbus.

A man of numerous interests, he was an avid reader with a quest for knowledge from quantum physics to astronomy and space flight.  Intelligent, he enjoyed a great sense of humor and was an attuned listener. He treasured time spent playing Scrabble and watching movies. Forever positive in his thinking, he knew the facts to most questions.  Always positive, he will be remembered for his kind and loving qualities.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory his sweetheart and companion: Catherine Smothers, son Joshua Page of Delaware, brother: Keith (Teri) Page of East Liberty, sisters: Leslie Moore of Fountain, FL, Ruth Page , and Rebecca (Tim) Ward also of East Liberty.

A service celebrating the life and music of Lloyd Page will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 15370 Meredith State Rd. at St Rt 3, Sunbury, Ohio 43074 with Pastor Robert Riggs officiating. Arrangements entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury.
