Marion Popcorn Festival is getting ready to hold two of their key annual events; the Popcorn 5K Run/Walk and Popcorn 100 Bike Tour.
The 2015 Marion Popcorn Festival 5K Run is being held Saturday, September 12, 2015. This event is open to both runners and walkers and is TAC Certified. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with the race start time at 9:15 a.m.
Pre-registration cost is $20.00 until September 8th. Registration forms received after September 8th and up to and including race day will be $25.00 each. The first 100 pre-registered entrants will receive 5K T-shirts and computerized race results.

The 2015 Marion Popcorn Festival Popcorn 100 Bike Tour will be held September 12, 2015. The family-friendly ride consists of 25, 38, 64 and 100 mile routes.
Registration/sign-in begins at 6:30 a.m. at the McKinley Park shelter house adjacent to Marion General Hospital; the ride will get underway at 7:00 a.m.
Pre-registration is available at www.thepopcorn100.com for $15 per person; day-of-event registration will be $20 per person.
