Bonnie June Moore, 85, of Marion

Bonnie June Moore age 85 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2014 at the Marion General Hospital.

She was born July 15, 1928 in Green Camp, Ohio to the late Dale F. and Clara L. (Manley) Weston.

On February 26, 1947 in Green Camp she married Marion E. “Sye” Moore and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2004.

Bonnie was retired from Whirlpool Corp. after twenty years of service. Before going to Whirlpool she worked at the former Fairfield Engineering Co. Bonnie was a member of Lee St. Presbyterian Church.

She leaves behind a family she loved dearly, a daughter and a son; Carolyn Sue Moore of Marion, Ohio and Terry L. (Sandra) Moore, Sr. of Marion, Ohio, and daughter-in-laws; Sharon (the late Dale Moore) and J. Vicki (the late Jeff “Fat Daddy” Moore). There are also two grandchildren surviving; Terry “Ace” Moore, Jr., Anni (Michael) Starcher, a special granddaughter, Romi Melicharkova of the Czech Republic, three great-grandchildren; Leanndra and Shane Moore, and Adrian Starcher, as well as three step-grandsons, and seven step-great-grandchildren. A sister and a brother also survive; Nancy Bailey of Marion, Ohio, Richard (Pat) Weston of Cardington, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie also leaves behind special friends, Ron Rice and Tom and Sandy Collins.

Besides her parents and her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a daughter and two sons; Julie Ann Moore, Jeffrey L. “Fat Daddy” Moore, Marion Dale Moore, and one sister and three brothers; Ruth Benner and William, Robert, and Donald Weston.

Funeral Services will be on Monday January 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Bishop Tom and Rev. Naomi Beckel. Burial will follow in the Green Camp Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday January 26, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M.
